While surfing the web one day, for a good company to restore wood siding, I ended up finding two that sounded like they may do a good job. They both had great pictures of some jobs where they had restored wood siding and they had really good references. I decided to have both of them come out to give me an estimate to see if they would be priced similar.
When the first company came out, they were very nice and answered all of the questions that I had for them. I felt really good about them, and wanted to just go ahead and hire them but the second company was due to arrive in an hour and I thought that I should give them a chance too.
The second company arrived and again was very nice and answered all of the same questions that the first company had answered but they were priced a little lower. They also offered a free concrete cleaning with their job, so I had to go with them.
I wonder if either of the companies knows how much they are alike, and if they do, is that the reason why the one offers the free concrete cleaning? It is just enough to set them apart.
I am hoping that I can afford to buy the most beautiful pair of Gucci shoes that I have ever seen. I found them on a website that carries only the most exquisite brands. I also found two Prada handbags that I would love to get, but I know that those will have to come with time.
If I can just get the Gucci shoes for now, I will be very happy. I am going to have to pinch my pennies for the next two weeks to be able to afford them right now. I am used to pinching pennies to get what I want though so it will not be anything new.
I wrote down the name and product number for the two Prada handbags that I want and gave them to my mother, since my birthday is coming up soon, maybe just maybe she will get me one and tell my brother about the other one. This will make it easier for me to obtain them. If they do not get them for me, then I will have to save up for them. I can do it, but it would be so much nicer if I got both the Prada handbags for my birthday.
When the local library was doing some renovations, they decided to put in vinyl windows. I thought that since I knew of a Chicago replacement windows company that I would call them for the library and ask them to help out.
They were more than happy to come and look at the library and work out something with them. We held many fundraisers to raise the money for the renovations. We even had where patrons of the library could “buy” the vinyl windows and then we would put their name above the window they had donated to the library.
The Chicago replacement windows company loved that idea and actually donated five of the windows themselves. The whole renovation project took about six months to complete. The community came together for a worthwhile cause and made sure that everything that was needed got done. I love going to the library now and seeing all the names of the people who donated items and especially the vinyl window that my family donated. There are computers, benches and lots of other items that were donated in the renovations. The whole project benefitted the entire community. They should all be very proud of the way it turned out and help to make sure everything is taken care of.
