The girls pajamas that I bought for my daughters online are really pretty. I had been trying to find something similar in town at the mall but the ones that the site is selling that I found are so much better. I think that with all the budget cuts, someone forgot to make sure that there was a little left for safety supplies. There should be a new set of recruits coming through in about two weeks and when they watch that training video that we all had to watch, they will not be able to use real safety supplies to practice with like we all did. The other thing that got me thinking was if the safety closet was almost empty, then it was possible that the cleaning products could be running low since we used the same company for both. I decided to check it out after lunch and found exactly what I suspected. There were enough cleaning products to probably get through the next week or so, but after that we would have nothing. It was time to do something about this, so I took matters into my own hands.

I have been looking over our budget for the next year and trying to figure out if we may be able to cut some of the unnecessary spending that we have done in the past. I changed our long distance provider and went with a bundle package that includes phone and internet, and that saved about fifty dollars a month.

I had my secretary look into how much money we can save on office supplies by using the local discount office furniture store that also sells office supplies. I have heard that they have great prices but since we have always just used the office supplies store that is across the street, I have not checked into it till now. I realize that convenience may not be the best reason for keeping the same provider when your bottom line is not where it should be.

If we can save just another fifty dollars a month on using the discount office furniture then that will be a savings of twelve hundred dollars a year, on just two items that we took the time to look into. I cannot imagine what would happen if we could find five or six more things to either cut back on, or find new suppliers.

My daughter was looking at buying funny shirts for her entire bowling team to wear to a competition. She just thought that if they had on matching funny t shirts, it would be fun.

I pointed her to some of the websites where I had seen many different funny shirts before. I told her that some of the sites even let you design your own funny shirts. She was not sure that she would be able to come up with something witty enough. I told her to just think about something that someone says on the team that is funny, slap it on the shirt and presto, you have your funny t shirts.

She did exactly that and all of the bowling girls loved wearing their funny shirts to the competition. I think that a lot of the other teams said that they would love to design their own funny t shirts to wear next year at the competition. My daughter gave them the name of the website that she used, and they all wrote it down. They are all excited to see who comes up with the most unique funny t shirts next year.

I of course, think that my daughter will once again design something cool and creative like she did this year, and knock their socks off.
