No matter how much we try to limit our spending in order to stay within our family’s budget, we still find ourselves running short of funds.  Good thing, we had something to fall back on. Although this does not happen often but when it does, it is time to bring out an old box that I keep in the bank for safe keeping.  The box holds the jewelry that I got from my mom.  She gave it to me because she knew that it might be able to help me in the future.  She was right because it did help me a lot especially during trying times.  I was able to sell gold jewelry from her collection to augment our income. 

At first I really did not want to sell jewelry that was from her collection because all of the pieces had sentimental value for me since it came from mom.  But then I had to be practical and let go of my emotions since my family is more important now than the old jewelry that I had with me.  I was able to sell them to this online store, which gave me a high appraisal value for the pieces that I sent.  Of course, I try not to do this often but when the tough gets going, I turn to it for help.
